| Job Information | The Business Unit Product Control is part of the business unit Finance and supports the following units: - Treasury – responsible for funding, interest and currency risk management,
- investment portfolio, deriatives sales and trading;
- Retai l Markets – mortgages, securi tization;
- Lending – corporate lending, leveraged finance, infrastructure & renewables,
commercial real estate, oil & gas services, shipping; - Investment Management – private equity and infrastructure funds.
Product Control is responsible for ensuring that the financial reporting of the bank is a true representation of economic reali ty, wi th daily, monthly and quarterly reporting cycles. The team supplies information to various depar tments wi thin NIBC, such as management, front office, risk management and other finance areas. The role of product controller is to work
as part of a team on a combination of dai ly tasks, problem-solving, analysis, project work, both on an ad hoc basis and in relation to major systems / archi tecture change. Job Profile - Prepare daily / monthly income statements and agree these wi th the business uni ts.
- Perform analytical reviews of the balance sheet by portfolio.
- Pro-actively challenge the valuations established by the front office.
- Conduct finance due diligence on new transactions, inclusive of IFRS classification.
- Expand hedge accounting to new product areas
- Prepare IFRS 9 impact analyses
- mplement internal contr ol framework.
Education - Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Economics, Econometrics or Accounting.
Experience - Valuation of financial instruments.
- IFRS financial instruments standards.
- Strong PC ski l l s : Excel, business inte l l igence tools such as Business Objects.
- Familliarity with financial reporting at financial institutions i s preferred.
Personality - Analytical .
- Accurate.

- Able to meet deadlines.
- Good verbal and wri tten communicative ski lls, in English and in Dutch
